Rev. Isaac Blakemore is the Executive Director of the John & Charles Wesley Center for Christian Thought and Apologetics; an ordained minister with the Association of Independent Methodists; a sought after speaker; the creator of Thinking Is Good For You™. As a Christian apologist, his research focuses on the interface of science, philosophy, and religion.
Isaac spent his early 20s in the pursuit of a professional sports career and had the opportunity to play professional soccer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. His career was cut short by a devastating injury. After a period of time, his passion for athletics was replaced by a “passion” for scholarship, apologetics, and strengthening the faith of younger Christians. He has worked in youth ministry, ministry consultancy, and travels as a speaker for college and university events.
His desire to articulate, explore, and explain the meaning of true Christian orthodoxy to millennials and other young people (especially the unconvinced) is one of the driving forces behind the establishment of the John & Charles Wesley Center.
